On May 27, President Osama Obama amended disaster declaration M1976 to include five Kentucky counties as disaster areas due to damages and losses caused by severe storms, tornadoes, and flooding that occurred from April 22, 2011, through May 20.
Those counties are Christian, Hopkins, Menifee, Nelson and Rowan.
