The Marion County Lady Knights varsity girls basketball team traveled to Centerville, Ohio to participate in the 3rd annual Kentucky/Ohio challenge Saturday.
They took on the Chaminade Julienne Lady Eagles, a team from Dayton, Ohio, that is ranked 35th in the state. The Lady Knights led at the half by a score of 22-17. Marion County went on to defeat Chaminade Julienne by a final score of 45-42 giving them their 19th win against only six losses. Head Coach Trent Milby said that this was a good, tough win on the road.
