The Marion County Lady Knights varsity basketball team traveled to Rupp Arena Sunday afternoon to face the Scott County Lady Cardinals in the first annual Racing to the Rim Challenge. Throughout the first three quarters, Marion County appeared to be the superior team. However, a string of free throw misses in the fourth quarter allowed Scott County to creep back into the game. Marion County attempted a whopping 42 free throws in the game, making only 18 of them, for a shooting percentage of 43 percent.
