Golf team edges Green County

The Marion County High School golf team traveled to Green County on Sept. 17, to finish up regular season play. The regional competition for girls was held on Monday at Fort Knox, and the boys regional competition was held yesterday at Lincoln Homestead in Springfield.
In the match against Green County, the Knights edged out a victory by the closest margin possible, one stroke. Marion County totaled up 171 strokes to Green County's 172. Individual results for the team were Trevor Burchell with a 40, Casey Lee with a 41, Logan Medley with a 44 and Mason Gadberry with a 46.
