Golf team falls short on quest to state tourney

The Marion County Knight golf team came up just short in its quest to move on to the state tournament last week in regional action at Dix River Country Club.

The Knights finished in a tie for sixth place with Washington County with a team score of 317. West Jessamine took home first place with an outstanding total of 307, followed by Taylor County and Boyle County with scores of 312 and 314.
