The Great American Treasure Hunt will be in Lebanon through Saturday, Dec. 8.
The Great American Treasure Hunt is a traveling road show that is free to the public. They are willing to buy a wide variety of items, but their focus is on gold and silver jewelry, coins made before 1963, military items, toys and trains, musical instruments, pocket and wrist watches, costume jewelry, US currency printed before 1964, and foreign coins.
The road show is set up at VFW Building in Lebanon. It will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 pm. Tuesday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
If you have something in the attic, basement or garage to possibly sell, the Treasure Hunt offers a few tips. The evaluation process itself is quick, but you may want to bring something to read in case you have to wait in line. They suggest that you do not clean items before bringing them in since cleaning could cause damage and lower the value of the items.
There is no limit to the number of items visitors can bring, and they will assess items large and small.
