Halloween festivities are this weekend

Halloween in the Park is Saturday from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Little ghosts and goblins will be invading Marion County this weekend for Halloween on Saturday.   The annual Halloween in the Park will be held Saturday from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Graham Memorial Park. The event is for all children ages preschool through sixth grade. Activities will include a hayride, sack races, candy cornhole, face painting, trick-or-treat candy, spider toss, Halloween golf and a fortune teller will be on hand. The costume contest will begin at 6 p.m. on the tennis courts. If it rains, the event is cancelled. All children must be accompanied by an adult. The event is sponsored by the Marion County Heartland Coalition and the City of Lebanon.

Trick-or-treating will also be going on throughout the county on Saturday. Trick-or-treating times are as follows:

• Lebanon: 5:30 p.m. 7 p.m. • Loretto: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. • Bradfordsville: 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

• Raywick: Saturday, no set time.
