The Sisters of Loretto and the staff of the Motherhouse Infirmary hosted a health fair May 7 at the City of Loretto Community Center. Hundreds of people visited booths from area health care providers and professionals. Guests could have their cholesterol levels and blood pressure checked, sit for a massage and try some healthy snacks, all the while gathering information on how to be healthier. Barbara Hagan of the Loretto Health Fair Committee said her goal was to get 100 people to the health fair, and she said at least 125 people visited the vendors, who provided information about healthy habits and safety.
“It was a great success,” Hagan said.
