Heritage Center open house is Sunday

The Marion County Historical Society has big plans for the old Marion County courthouse, and they want the public to know about it.

“It’s been a labor of love,” said Michael Cecil, the historical society president.

The heritage center actually opened in September, but the grand opening is scheduled for Sunday. Feb. 10, from 1-3 p.m., an invitation-only event has been scheduled.
