The Kentucky General Assembly will convene Feb. 3, and its agenda will be centered on one thing - money, according to State Rep. Jimmy Higdon, who spoke at the Lebanon-Marion County Chamber of Commerce's Legislative Breakfast Wednesday of last week. Higdon, along with the other members of the House and Senate, will be trying to figure out exactly how much money the state doesn't have and how it is going to make up for the state's estimated $500 million budget shortfall. And, unfortunately, time is not on the legislature's side.
