High school dropout rate is improving

The latest non-academic data released recently shows that the Marion County school district's dropout rate has improved considerably during the past four years.

According to Assistant Superintendent Taylora Schlosser, who recently shared the non-academic data with the school board, only four students quit school in 2010. That's down from 19 students who dropped out in 2006.
