Marion County High School has announced its registration dates for the 2009-10 academic year. Seniors will register Monday, July 27, from 2-6 p.m. Juniors will register Tuesday, July 28, from 2-6 p.m. Sophomores will register Wednesday, July 29, from 2-6 p.m. Freshmen will register Thursday, July 30, from 2-6 p.m. Students must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian in order to register. All paper work must be completed at the registration, including the contract for "Work Ethics Seal." Registration activities will include receiving class schedules, lockers, forms, student agendas and handbooks and parking tags (if applicable). Students will need to pay a $15 fee to cover locker, agenda book, mailings and class dues, a $24 book fee and an optional $10 parking permit. School pictures will also be taken during registration. Order forms will be available the day of registration, and orders must be paid for at that time. Dress code will be enforced. All students must have their photo taken, including seniors. New students from out of the district should make an appointment. School officials also encourage students to keep the dress code in mind when they doing their back to school shopping.
