It is time to begin planning for 4-H Camp. As has become a tradition, we have many exciting events and activities planned for the five-day excursion, June 2-6, at Lake Cumberland 4-H Center.

4-H Camp forms for campers, teen and adult volunteers are available at the Marion County Extension office at this time. Camp applications are due into the extension office by May 15th

The fee for this year's camp is $150.00, with limited 4-H camp scholarships available. We will be attending camp again this summer with others from Green, Clinton and Adair counties.

In recent summers we have had as many as 120 campers attending from Marion County.

4-H Camp classes include archery, swimming, nature, crafts, recreation, sports, lake front, fishing, ropes challenge courses, sports, riflery and a variety of others.

Teens and adults from Marion County attend with the campers along with a county Extension agent. We are accepting applications for teen and adult volunteers at this time. Teen leader interviews will be conducted in the near future. Those interested in attending camp as a teen leader should contact the extension office immediately for further details.

Educational programs of the University of Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service serve all people regardless of race, color, age, sex, religion, disability or national origin.  Contact the Marion County Extension Office, 692-2421.
