The world's largest radio-controlled jet showcase is back at the Lebanon-Springfield Airport. While the model jet pilots have already started using the airport, spectators are invited to watch from Thursday, July 12, through Sunday, July 15. Admission is $5.
The biggest days for spectators will be Friday and Saturday. On Friday, RC jet demonstrations will take place from 9 a.m. to dark. The day will conclude with the parade of lights and a fireworks display.
On Saturday, demonstrations again will take place from 9 a.m. to dark, but some special demonstrations are also on the schedule. A fighter jet extravaganza is scheduled from noon to 2 p.m., and a "hot dog showdown" is scheduled from 2 to 3 p.m.
