Federal officials are reminding county residents that they have until Monday, July 12, to register for disaster assistance as a result of the May 2 flooding. A federal disaster was declared as a result of the damage caused by the flooding.
Residents can register online at www.DisasterAssistance.gov or by calling 1-800-621-FEMA. The TTY number is 1-800-462-7585. Phones are open from 7 a.m. until 10 p.m. every day.
