JV Knights go 2-0

The Marion County High School junior varsity boys’ basketball team knocked off Casey County High School on Friday at the Roby Dome.

The Knights outlasted Casey County 43-31. Patrick Gribbins led the way for Knights with 12 points. Josh Brockman added 11 points while Jordan Bell dropped in eight of his own. Jared Vaughn had three points while Dalton Mills, Vincent Collins, Carlos Litsey and Josh Newcomb each had two points. Eric Farmer finished with one point.

The junior varsity squad beat Green County on Monday of last week at the Roby Dome, winning 61-34.

Patrick Gribbins led the way for Knights with 15 points. Josh Brockman added 13 points while Dalton Mills dropped in 12 of his own. Jared Vaughn had 11 points while Jordan Bell had four and Carlos Litsey had two.

The freshman squad took on Taylor County and Campbellsville on Saturday at Adair County. The Knights outlasted the Cards 41-27 and the Eagles 49-20.

Against the Cards, Vincent Collins led the way for the Knights with 15 points. Satchel Tatum added 10 while Alex Smith had eight. Brandon Sandusky scored four while Jacob Overstreet and Luke Bradshaw added two each.

Against the Cards, Vincent Collins and Aaron Mattingly led the way for the Knights with 10 points. Jacob Overstreet added six points while Satchel Tatum, Brandon Sandusky, Luke Bradshaw and Brooks Divine added five points each. Alex Smith had three points.

On Monday of last week the freshman squad fell 37-27 to Green County at Marion County High School.

Vincent Collins led the way for the Knights with 11 points. Satchel Tatum added four points while Aaron Mattingly and Luke Bradshaw added three points each. Brandon Sandusky, Jacob Overstreet and Brooks Divine had two points each.
