-A A +A
By Jessica Veatch and Josh Veatch

The Kentucky Cross Country Racing circuit (KCCR) returned to Marion County Sunday. Last year, the racing circuit made the trip here to hold their first event of their season in April. This time they came to hold their final event of the season. The event was held on a six-mile course on land owned by Kenneth Tucker and Sonny Pittman near Bradfordsville. An impressive number of participants turned out for the event, which featured riders from every skill level. Riders competed in classes ranging from professionals to the school boy class for 13-15-year-olds. Riders were divided into 14 different classes for the dirt bike portion of the race and 10 classes in the ATV segment.
According to the KCCR website (www.kccracing.com), the mission of KCCR is to provide a challenging and exciting venue for off-road racing enthusiasts focusing on family values, positive ethics and morals and an overall quality experience. The staff of KCCR offer decades of skill in off-road racing and the goal of KCCR is to instill their passion for the sport into both adults and youth. Being the best means providing outstanding quality, service, respect for all racers, commitment to sponsors and supporters, as well as, establishing partnerships and encouraging continual improvement.
