When Phillip Morris USA moved its receiving station to Danville last year, Lebanon was without a receiving station for the first time in decades. This year, two new receiving stations have opened in Lebanon. Kentucky Commissioner of Agriculture James Comer visited the receiving station that International Tobacco Trading Company and Golden Leaf Tobacco Company have opened in the former Ken-Mar building on Monday afternoon, Nov. 5. "It's a good deal any time you can open up a new market for Kentucky farmers," Comer said, "and that's what this is." Look for more about the new receiving stations in an upcoming edition.
