The Marion County Knights varsity boys basketball team traveled to Bardstown to play the Nelson County Cardinals Friday.
After starting off the first half pretty evenly matched, the Knights used a monstrous third quarter to give themselves a nice advantage over the Cardinals, eventually going on to win the game by a final score of 60-49. Junior John Southall paced the way for the Knights with a career high 21 points. Junior Carlos Litsey helped the Knights’ cause with another double-double, scoring 15 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.
