Knights football team preparing for season

-A A +A
By Jessica Veatch and Josh Veatch

The 2012 Marion County High School Knights football team is looking to improve upon their 3-8 record from last season. After starting last season out on a rough note against Russell County in the Forcht Bank Bowl at Campbellsville University, the team picked up a pair of wins over Clay County and Nelson County to sit at 2-1. However, the Knights ran into some stiff competition in their new district and lost a heartbreaker to Washington County to drop seven of their final eight games.
