Knights lock up last place in district tournament

The Marion County Knights boys basketball team locked up the last place seed in the upcoming district tournament beginning in late February.

The seed all but guarantees the Knights will face Adair County in the first round, which is currently unbeaten in district play. Adair County is on a 15 game win streak in district play, losing last to Taylor County on Jan. 30, 2007. The last time the Knights beat the Indians was on Dec. 30, 2006 in a 48-41 upset at Adair County.
