The Marion County Knights varsity boys basketball team traveled to Springfield to take on the Washington County Commanders in a border rivalry Saturday night. The Knights outscored the Commanders in all four quarters of the game, and easily defeated the home team by 29 points with a final score of 74-45 boosting their record to 13-9. Three Marion County players scored in double figures, with senior Deshawn Douglas leading the way with 18 points. Junior Carlos Litsey captured his seventh double-double of the season in the game, scoring 10 points and grabbing 13 rebounds.
