Knights Run Away From Taylor County

The Marion County Knights headed to Taylor County to take on the Cardinals in a game that would decide the outright winner of the 20th district.  After a close game early on, the Knights pulled away and went on to win 67-51.  After finding themselves in a tie game early in the second half, senior John Southall and sophomore Alex Smith hit three pointers on three straight trips for the Knights to put them on top by nine points.  After that point, the Cardinals would never lead again.
