Knights soccer team ignite against Taylor County

The Marion County High School boys' soccer team ignited for five goals and blanked the Taylor County Cardinals in the opening round of 29th District tournament play in Mercer County on Tuesday night.

The Knights avenged their mid season 3-2 loss to Taylor and will advance to play Boyle County High School at 6 p.m. on Wednesday.

The Rebels blanked the Knights 5-0 in Marion County’s second game of the season. Boyle County is ranked fourth in the 15th Region.
