This week is jam packed for the Knights as they play on the road against Christian Academy of Louisville (CAL), Nelson County and Elizabethtown.

CAL (11-8) looks to be a tough opponent as they whipped mutual opponent Waggener by 21 points (72-51). Knights Head Coach Tim Peterson added the game late and expects it may go unplayed if the weather performs as expected with ice and snow. The game is scheduled for Tuesday night in Louisville.

The Knights look to avenge a loss to Nelson County (10-6) when they travel to Bardstown on Friday night.

"We just didn't shoot ball well that night," Peterson said. "They're a patient, strong team. We'll try to be more physical with them, like with Taylor County. This is one of those games we'll just grind it out and see how we fare. We're not going to back down. Last time we had a chance to win the ball game. We just want to be there at the end."

Tip off against Nelson County is set for 7:30 p.m.

The Knights are on the road again the next day at Elizabethtown (6-11).

"They're a little down compared to other years. (Chris) Gohman got hurt early, he's their leader," Peterson said.

Elizabethtown is one of the few remaining teams on the Knights schedule that has a losing record.

"I told the players we're not playing bad but we're playing some pretty good teams. We just need to bring the "A" game every night," Peterson said.

The Knights hope to pick up their first road win of the season next week. Their wins have come from home games and on a neutral court.

Tip off in Elizabethtown is set for 7:30 p.m.
