Knights win one, lose three in Jessamine County Invitational

The Marion County Knights claimed seventh place in the Jessamine County Invitational on Saturday afternoon with a 61-48 win against Pineville at East Jessamine High School.

The Knights (2-5) finally got a win against struggling Pineville (7-4), who had only lost one game and was on a six game win streak before entering the tournament.

Marion County jumped out to a double-digit lead in the first half and maintained it through the second half, holding off Pineville in a battle of four seeds on the last day of play.
