The Marion County High School boys travelled to Campbellsville for a 20th district game Friday. In a game in which neither team ever led by more than seven points, the teams ended regulation deadlocked, 50-50. In overtime, the Knights managed two more points than the Eagles to win 56-54 and improve to 8-8 on the season.
The opening quarter would set the tone for the entire game. Neither team led by more than two points, and a pair of free throws by Jalen Powell left the score tied 11 to end the quarter.
