A Liberty man has been arrested more than three years after walking away from work release while he was being incarcerated at the Marion County Detention Center.
James H. Shell, 48, was arrested at 9:15 a.m. Oct. 30 at Kentucky State Police Post 15, according to the state police.
Shell walked away on March 17, 2010, while he was doing community service at the Marion County Animal Shelter, according to the Marion County Detention Center. At that time, Shell was being held on a flagrant non-support charge.
