KU urges support for WinterCare Energy Fund

In winter, home energy costs often increase as citizens try to keep their homes warm. To assist low-income customers, Kentucky Utilities created its WinterCare Energy Fund.

KU works with the Community Action Council to assist residents who may need help with paying utility bills or weatherization projects. Thousands of people have been helped by the program over the years.
