The Marion County High School Lady Knights basketball team hosted the Adair County Lady Indians at the Roby Dome Wednesday. After a bit of a sluggish start, the Lady Knights pulled away and won by a final score of 71-40 to improve to 19-0 on the season.
Early on, Adair County stayed in the game and actually led by three points with five minutes to go in the opening frame. The score remained close as the quarter went on until Marion County went on a 9-2 run to end the frame. The spurt allowed the Lady Knights to take a 14-10 lead into the second quarter.
