Lady Knights fall to Elizabethtown at home

The Marion County Lady Knights varsity girls basketball team hosted the Elizabethtown Lady Panthers at the Roby Dome Thursday.
The match-up of two top 10 ranked teams did not disappoint the fans, as the game was close throughout.  Elizabethtown made all nine of their free throw attempts in the fourth quarter, and only missed one free throw throughout the entire game to defeat the Lady Knights by nine points, with a final score of 55-46.
“When a team shoots 20-21 it’s tough to beat especially if you get behind,” Head Coach Trent Milby said.
