Lady Knights open regional softball tourney against LaRue County

The Marion County Lady Knights (23-8) are scheduled to face LaRue County (13-21) in the opening round of the 5th Region softball tournament at 4 p.m. Monday, May 28, at Marion County High School.

The Lady Knights are enter the regional tournament as the 20th District Champions after defeating Taylor County, 3-2, on May 23.

LaRue County was the runner-up in the 18th Region, losing to Green County in the district final, 4-0.

Marion County defeated LaRue County, 2-0, when they played April 3.
