The Marion County Lady Knights basketball team advanced to the championship game of the 20th District Tournament by defeating Taylor County on Thursday night. Marion County was led by Makayla Epps with 19 points and Kyvin Goodin-Rogers with 14 points. After leading 30-2 at the end of the first quarter, Marion County went on to win by a final score of 65-26.

In the other semifinal game of the 20th District tournament, the Adair County Lady Indians defeated Campbellsville 74-30. Marion County and Adair County will play each other for the championship with tip-off scheduled for 7:30 p.m. est. Saturday night.
