Lady Knights rout Commanderettes

On Thursday night, the Marion County Lady Knights began play in the 5th region girls' basketball tournament at Green County High School.  The Lady Knights opening round opponent was Washington County.  Marion County had no trouble dispatching the Commanderettes as they were in control throughout the entire game.  After getting out to a 16-0 lead, the Lady Knights ran away with an 87-23 win to stay undefeated on the season.  Eighth grader Haeli Howard led the way for Marion County by tying a career high with 22 points.
