The Marion County Lady Knights have successfully defended their title as the girls 20th District champions.
Friday night, Marion County defeated the Adair County Lady Indians, 59-51, in the district finals at the Roby Dome.
Marion County defeated Campbellsville, 60-32, in the first semifinal match-up. Adair County topped Taylor County, 58-41, in the other semifinal to set up the championship game.
Both Marion County (15-14) and Adair County (18-10) will advance to the 5th Region Tournament.
Marion County and the Bethlehem Banshees (10-11) were originally scheduled to at 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, at Nelson County High School, but that game has been moved to March 5. However, due to the weather, the games that had been scheduld for March 3 have now been pushed back to March 4.
Marion County and Bethlehem will now play on March 5.

Marion County boys fall to Indians
The Marion County Knights lost to the Adair County Indians, 61-60, in the first round of the boys 20th District Tournament on Thursday night at the Roby Dome.
Adair County (17-12) advances to the district championship game at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 1, against Taylor County (24-6).
The Knights finished the season with a 19-10 record.
