The Lebanon City Council voted 4-2 to approve the second reading of a proposed ordinance that would allow restaurants to sell alcohol by the drink on Sundays.
Before the law takes effect, however, it must be published officially.
Council members Denise Fogle, Dennis George, Bill Pickerill and Darin Spalding voted in favor of the second reading, and council members Elizabeth Ann Osbourne and Jim Richardson cast the opposing votes.
