Goodwill Industries of Kentucky’s donation and retail center in Lebanon sustained major water damage on Jan. 8 after a sprinkler system pipe burst in subzero temperatures. As a result, part of the ceiling caved in and the majority of items on the sales floor were ruined.
“It’s just a devastating loss,” said Kim Hamilton, manager of the Lebanon Goodwill. “This is the beginning of a slow time of year for donations, so this couldn’t have happened at a worse time.”
