The children of the Lebanon Housing Authority’s Ross “Today” after school program ended Fire Prevention week with a guest from the Marion County Emergency
Medical System. Trey Abell, EMT, shared with the children that he also worked as a fire fighter. He talked with the children about being safe when there is a fire and having a family evacuation plan. He discussed the equipment that he uses in both of his jobs. The children got to try on his fire hat, and took a tour of the ambulance. The children wrote thank you notes to Abell to show their appreciation for the great job he does for our community.
