Lebanon man arrested, charged with assault

A Lebanon man was arrested and charged with assault on July 31 in Campbellsville.

According to a Campbellsville Police release, officers responded to a report of a fight at Ancil Reynolds Used Cars at about 7:22 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers found that Ricky Allen, 33, of Campbellsville and Darrell G. Smothers Jr., 19, of Lebanon had been fighting. 

Smothers had allegedly pulled a knife and cut Allen on his abdomen.

By the time officers had arrived, Smothers had fled the scene.
