Lebanon man facing drug trafficking charge

Indiana man accused of marijuana trafficking

William C. Stumph, 24, of 630 Chadley Avenue in Lebanon was indicted for first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance.
According to the indictment, on or about Oct. 7, 2010, Stumph knowingly and unlawfully trafficked in a controlled substance classified in Schedule I or II, which is a narcotic drug, or he aided, abetted or counseled with another in said act.
His bond was set at $15,000 with the condition that he use no drugs or alcohol.
- Anthony L. Pittman, 25, of 10298 S. Lincoln Walnut Street in Walton, Ind., was indicted for trafficking in marijuana eight ounces or more but less than five pounds and first-degree persistent felony offender.
According to the indictment, on or about Feb. 23, Pittman knowingly trafficked in marijuana (between eight ounces and five pounds) or aided, abetted or counseled with another in said act. The indictment also reads that he was over 21 and stood convicted of two felonies after his 18th birthday.
His bond was set at $15,000 with the condition that he use no alcohol or drugs.
- Joshua M. Pittman, 23, of 10298 S. Lincoln Walnut Street in Walton, Ind., was indicted for trafficking in marijuana eight ounces or more but less than five pounds and first-degree persistent felony offender.

- Perry Metcalf, 44, of 6491 Loretto Road in Lebanon was indicted for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
According to the indictment, on or about Nov. 15, 2010, Metcalf possessed manufactured or transported a firearm when he has been convicted of a felony in any state or federal court.
His bond was set at 10 percent of $15,000.
- Darrell Leath, 32, no address listed, was indicted for first-degree promoting contraband and second-degree persistent felony offender.
According to the indictment, on or about Feb. 14, Leath knowingly introduced dangerous contraband into a detention facility, or, being confined in a detention facility, knowingly made, obtained or possessed dangerous contraband, or he aided, abetted or counseled with another in said act. The indictment also reads that he is over the age of 21 and stood convicted of at least one felony after his 18th birthday.
His bond was set at 10 percent of $15,000.
- Jose R. Amaya, 36, of 7511 KY 49 in Liberty was indicted for first-degree possession of a controlled substance and operating a motor vehicle while his license is revoked or suspended.
According to the indictment, on or about Jan. 13, Amaya knowingly and unlawfully trafficked in a controlled substance classified in Schedule I or II, which is a narcotic drug, or he aided, abetted or counseled with another in said act.
His bond was set at 10 percent of $15,000.
- Perry Anthony Bell, 23, of 11 Blossom Lane in Lebanon was indicted on charges of theft by unlawful taking over $500, second-degree criminal mischief and second-degree persistent felony offender.
According to the indictment, on or about Dec. 20, 2010, Bell unlawfully took or exercised control over property valued at over $500 belonging to another with the intent to deprive them thereof, or he aided, abetted or counseled with another in said act. The indictment also reads that he was over 21 and stood convicted of at least one felony after his 18th birthday.
His bond was set at 10 percent of $10,000 with the condition that he has no contact with the complaining witness.
- Natasha Jo Powell, 28, of 2480 St. Matthew Cemetery Road in Lebanon was indicted for second-degree criminal abuse.
According to the indictment, on or about Jan. 13, Powell wantonly abused another person or permitted another person of whom she has actual custody to be abused and thereby caused torture, cruel confinement or cruel punishment to a person under the age of 12 or who is physically or mentally helpless.
Her bond was set at 10 percent of $10,000 with the condition that she have no contact with the complaining witness.
- Andreas Beltran (a.k.a. Andres Beltran), 21, of 1437 Pheasant Run in Mishawaka, Ind., was indicted for trafficking in marijuana eight ounces or more but less than five pounds.
According to the indictment, on or about Feb. 23, Beltran knowingly trafficked in marijuana (between eight ounces and five pounds) or aided, abetted or counseled with another in said act.
His bond was set at 10 percent of $50,000 with the condition that he use no alcohol or drugs.
- Zadie M. Cash, 48, of 408 Westside Drive in Lebanon was indicted for welfare fraud.
According to the indictment, between November of 2006 and December of 2008, Cash knowingly made false statements, misrepresented or failed to disclose a material fact used in determining the person’s qualifications to receive benefits under any assistance program and/or with the intent to defraud, failed to report a change in the factors affecting a person’s eligibility for benefits.
Her bond was set at $250.
- Rachel Lewis, 35, of 1631 Logan Hill Road in Gravel Switch was indicted for welfare fraud.
According to the indictment, between May of 2008 and April of 2010, Lewis knowingly made false statements, misrepresented or failed to disclose a material fact used in determining the person’s qualifications to receive benefits under any assistance program and/or with the intent to defraud, failed to report a change in the factors affecting a person’s eligibility for benefits.
Her bond was set at $250.
