Lebanon man indicted for manslaughter

Phillip R. Johnson, 28, of Marion Inn Apt. 10 in Lebanon was indicted for first-degree manslaughter and first-degree persistent felony offender in Marion Circuit Court recently.

According to the indictment, on or about March 9, Johnson, with intent to cause serious physical injury to another person or with intent to cause the death of another person, did cause the death of such person. The indictment also reads that he was over the age of 21 and stood convicted of at least two felonies after his 18th birthday.

His bond was set at $100,000 and he was ordered to have monitored conditional release if he makes bond.
