A Lebanon man was listed in fair condition as of Monday at University Hospital in Louisville, where he is recovering after a four-wheeler accident Sunday evening.

Brad Spalding, 34, of Lebanon was driving a four-wheeler on Frank Lee Road Sunday evening when the accident occurred, according to Marion County Sheriff Jimmy Clements.

Spalding was traveling east on Frank Lee Road with Billy Joe Logsdon, 37, of Lebanon as a passenger on the four-wheeler. Around 11:35 p.m., Spalding collided with a mailbox at 1130 Frank Lee Road.

The collision threw Spalding and Logsdon from the four-wheeler and caused the vehicle to flip over.

Air Methods flew Spalding to University Hospital for treatment of head injuries. Logsdon was treated at Spring View Hospital and released.

Neither Spalding nor Logsdon were wearing helmets. Clements said Logsdon told the officers who worked the accident that he'd had a few beers.
