Lebanon Middle School is finalist for $25,000 award

-A A +A

Lebanon Middle School is one of 30 finalists for Windstream’s SchoolsWIN Classroom Connections program, and Windstream is encouraging the public to vote for its favorite finalists to determine which schools will receive one of at least six $25,000 awards.
Since August, the SchoolsWIN program has been encouraging public, private and charter schools within Windstream’s residential service areas to participate in a community improvement project and submit videos of their projects for a chance to receive $25,000 for technology.
School and community members are invited to view and vote for their favorite videos between Nov. 7 and Nov. 18. All videos are available to view at: http://schoolswin.windstream.com/finalists. Windstream will announce the recipients of the $25,000 awards on Nov. 28.
SchoolsWIN supplements the loss of school resources in an economy where often schools face budget cuts. Through Classroom Connections and Classroom Caravan, the SchoolsWIN program will award a total of $250,000 to schools in 2011.
