The next time you see the Marion County Cattleman’s Association sign and grill, dig out your spare change, have a sandwich and pat those guys on the back for the wonderful job they do. Come rain, snow or sweltering summer temperatures, these men are out there volunteering their time for every good fundraising cause that comes along. Most recently, they cooked more than 450 ribeyes for the St. Charles football program and the temperature was over a hundred degrees, not counting the heat coming from the grill. They have huge hearts of gold and don’t ask for anything in return.
