Letter: Compassion can be found in Lebanon

Please don't tell me there are no compassionate people in Lebanon because I know different. My son, his wife and two small girls came in from Indiana and surprised me at my work (Cedars of Lebanon) for Christmas. When one of my co-workers asked my son if he was "ready for Christmas", my son's reply was, "Not this year." Well, between three of my co-workers, my grandchildren had the best Christmas. For my son and his family, and me and mine, I want to express my appreciation to Joni Hall, Jennifer Bartley and Christy Smothers.
