I have been reading The Lebanon Enterprise with great interest and with much sadness about what is happening with Marion County School Board actions. It appears that academics and the achievement of all students is no longer the focus of the Marion County School Board. Mr. Donald Smith has been blamed unjustly for low student scores and criticized for unmet goals, such as selling his home in Mercer County during this time of poor economy.
