Letter: County supports Goodwill Industries

-A A +A

I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to all of Goodwill’s donors and community partners for helping us through a recent loss of inventory as a result of busted sprinkler pipes and extensive water damage.
It is the support of the people in Marion County and the surrounding area that make Goodwill’s mission possible. Donations of clothing and other household items from the community allow us to fund critical job training and employment services right here in Kentucky. Last year, we placed 2,470 Kentuckians into jobs, and we paid almost $18 million in wages to people with disabilities or other disadvantages. I am proud that my community helped contribute to that success.
Goodwill has been in Lebanon since 1933, and we could not have survived this long without the generous and ongoing support of our neighbors like you. We hope to continue to serve the area for many more years to come. We appreciate you for remembering Goodwill when it’s time to make a donation.
