To my kids from the past, present and to the kids who will not get to know me, I hope and pray they have and will listen to me when I say to get a good education. Some of my kids would say, “Mrs. Twila, I can read and write and do some math.” Then I would ask them, “Do you understand what you read? Can you write a resume? Can you keep up with a checkbook?” Because if you don’t understand and comprehend a contract or your handbook and keep up and try to save your money.
