Each year in December, Christmas wreaths are laid on soldiers graves at national cemeteries across America. Unfortunately, at our local Lebanon National Cemetery there are many graves that are left bare due to not enough funds available to purchase wreaths for those fallen soldiers who no longer have family left or families that are unable to bear the $15 cost of purchasing a wreath. Our local cemetery has graves dating back to the Civil War and all conflicts throughout history, even soldiers lost in Afghanistan.
