It would of been more appropriate had I submitted this letter a few weeks ago. I have been trying to put my feelings into words in regard to the Marion County Honor Guard and the service provided at the Lebanon National Cemetery in Lebanon. The article a few weeks ago spoke about the bitter cold temperatures and the actions of the volunteers. My father's funeral was at 1:30 p.m. on that bitter cold day with below zero wind chill. The night prior to the funeral Marion Thomas came to the funeral home.
